Electro-Static Flocking ServicesFlocking is the process of applying fine fibres to an adhesive coated surface (known as the substrate). Flock fibres are applied electro-statically to a substrate. Electro-static flocking uses a charge to impel and align flock fibres into the adhesive and results in a professional looking, anti-glare, durable and uniform finish. Compared to the other cheaper methods like spraying flock fibres using a pump or spray bottle or manually sprinkling flock fibres onto adhesive coated surface, electro-static flocking will result in a far superior finish. Quantum Mouldings offers only Electro-Static Flocking as used by many WRC factory teams as it offers the best durability, finish and appearance for our customers. In our experience Electro-Static Flocking is the only suitable way to apply flocking for in-car use. The other methods simply will not stand up over time. Unlike many "do-it-yourself" kits available on the internet, we only use high-durability, fire-resistant flock fibres as used in the automotive industry. 2008 saw Quantum Mouldings Limited Purchasing Several Machines from the well know Glas-Craft, to enable us to be more competitive in today's current tough markets.
