History

Quantum was born in 1985, the brain child of Mark and Harvey Wooldridge! The third brother Peter joined in 1990.

Initially the manufacture of the monocoque GRP bodies was subcontracted. The brothers were dissapointed with level of quality and service and quickly decided to bring the GRP work in house.

During the 1990's we launched four vehicles, all engineered with a level of fit and finish to rival expensive production cars.

We manufactured over 1000 vehicles from our factory in stourbridge and enjoyed the reputation of having "THE BEST" gelcoat finish in the business.

The quality of our work caught the eye of commercial buyers, and by the end of the 90's subcontract work had become a major part of our business.

In 2001 we took the decision to sell Quantum Sports cars and concentrate on our commercial division now well established as Quantum Mouldings Limited.

Quantum Mouldings remains a family owned business between the Wooldridge brothers, with Peter as Managing Director and Mark as Financial Director.
